Grades are posted for 7-11
Dear 7-11 parents,
At this point in time grades 7-11 will be posting grades every two weeks. It is just too much computer work to do it every week. We will email or call parents immediately if there is any issue with school work.
Thanks for your patience,
Paul Sontag

Operation Christmas Child
Dear Parents,
Don't forget about Operation Christmas Child.
It works like this; you find an empty shoe box and go to the dollar store. You fill the shoe box with items like pencils, paper, stuffed animals, a Bible, non-weapon toys etc. We will wrap them in class and I will make sure they get sent on their way. If you do not have a shoe box, please just send in some items and I'll make sure there is a shoe box to put them in. There is an $7 shipping cost. Please send in as much as you can afford toward the shipping and I will make up the difference (Lord willing). Not too long ago there was a missionary who came to our church to speak about a village he had visited and most of the children there had their shoe boxes. He commented on how happy they were to receive them. So, this year, I hope and pray that we can give this Christmas to those less fortunate than we are. Won’t you join me in this? Here is the website for more information: http://www.samaritanspurse.org/OCC.asp?MPGID=1
All the shoe boxes must be turned in to me by November 1st. This will give us time to wrap them.
Your students seem very motivated to participate so I hope you will join in their enthusiasm.
In Him,
Mrs. Lehoux

Soccer Update!
10/17 The soccer team played an exciting game, beating the RSEC Academy 7-1. Everyone played hard and the score shows it! Our goal scorers were: Peter Maillet had two, Mimi Cianci, Won Young Jang, Becca Peterson, Pilar Stealy, Kirsten Weber and Yvonne Zagarites all had one apiece. Dan Hartling played an awesome game in goal.
10/22 MCA went up against Jesse Remington High School today and it was a tough game. MCA came out on fire and scored the first goal. That woke up the beast and Jesse followed with four goals in the first half of the game. MCA scored one more time in the second half, both goals were scored by Peter Maillet, but Jesse also scored four more goals. The MCA Eagles lost 2-8, this was their biggest loss of the season.
The Eagles play Concord Christian away on Thursday. This should be a good game, if you have nothing to do and find yourself in Concord, stop by the Clinton Street Fields and cheer the team on to victory!
The soccer team will have one more game after this; Monday, October 29th the team travels to TriCity for the last regular season game. The top four teams from our division will be playing in a tournament onTuesday/Thursday, November 6/8. The tournament will be held at the MCAA fields on North River Road. Game time will be 3:00 for the tournament.

Finally-View your Children's Grades!! Get your login Info 1st!!
Hello MCA Family,
The grade section of the website for students in 7-11 is now up and running! While the elementary does not post grades on the website, the MCA Family Directory is posted in this section as well and must be accessed via the same method.
For the sake of confidentiality, it is imperative that the username and password you are given be kept for your eyes only (parents only, not the child or any other friend or relative) as this portion of the website may also be used to communicate sensitive information to parents.
For this reason, we are asking that each family send an email to MCA with the subject line WEBSITE LOGIN. MCA will in turn send you your username and password in a response to that email so that you can be looking for it and get it before your children do if they use the same email address.
Thanks so much for the patience you have displayed as we worked out the bugs to this long-awaited website feature!

Attention Skiers & Snow boarders!
Winter is just around the corner and so is Ski Club! MCA usually goes toPats Peak Fridays during the second session, which starts February 15th and goes for five weeks, not counting Winter Break Week. I need to know who is interested in going and if you want to try and get first session, which starts January 2nd. First session usually has more snow than the second, that's my only concern. If we do switch to first session, we would not be able to have Friday, we would switch to Tuesday.
PLEASE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN EITHER ONE CONTACT MRS. PETERSON RIGHT AWAY!!!! LET HER KNOW WHICH ONE YOU WANT!!! THIS IS IMPORTANT!!! HER E-MAIL ADDRESS IS: shebec@juno.com.
