MCA School Board has set marker dates to manage the enrollment process for the upcoming year. These were announced at the parent teacher meeting on Jan 28th.
Jan 28th Announce new tuition and school program for 2008-09 school year
Feb. 29th 80 % re enrollment for present school families. Open enrollment begins
March 31st re enrollment fee increases to $150
April 25th Goal of 50 students enrolled
May 6 th School Board meeting to assess enrollment goals are met and confirm
teacher contacts for next year

MCA plans to have a substantial increase in students for next year. 60 students is our minimum. We are in the process of looking for two new teachers for next year, one math and science for high school and one elementary.
What is our enrollment strategy? We have plans to advertise in local venues and churches. This is normal for all schools, but MCA gets most of its enrollment from referrals from families already enrolled in MCA. In other words, if the past is any indicator, regardless of how much effort MCA administration puts into the enrollment process it is current families that provide over 80% of the enrollment increase. We need your participation in this area.
We also remind you that the first re enrollment date is this Friday. This will encourage us greatly.
