PARENTS VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP NIGHT

PARENTS VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP NIGHT

If you were at the Dinner Concert then most of this will serve as a reminder, and if you were not then let me fill you in on a “Do- not- miss” date. Pencil in Monday June 9th @ 6pm on your calendar. This is Volunteer Hours sign up night for all parents with a student enrolled in the coming school year. For all parents who are choosing to volunteer 40 hours rather than pay $500 in added tuition this is your night. And for parents who are choosing to pay the $500 rather than put in volunteer hours this, too, will be a time for you to confirm your choice.

Now, I make a request, that you bring your appetite, as supper will be ready and waiting for you. The various volunteer departments will be explained and the different opportunities within each department. Sign up will commence after eating. This a first come-first serve agenda so come prepared to choose and lock in your jobs for the 2008-2009 school year.

Now, I’ve got one more request: This is a night for parents only. This is going to be a night to focus in so as to get everyone on their way home as soon as possible: “ We do appreciate you coming out on a weeknight”. The benefit to MCA of having the Volunteer Hours filled prior to the opening of the school year will allow us to “hit the ground running” in the fall.

God’s Best to You,

Tom Harris

Dress Code for tomorrow May 16, 2008

Upper School may wear nice jeans and a MCA shirt tomorrow during the day. For the Dinner Concert, junior/senior high students will wear dressy black bottoms(pants or skirts) with a light colored, collared shirt. Also, for those students who will be here all day, please bring extra food and drink to last the day. There may possibly be free time, so please plan on utilizing that time well(PBL, debate, make-up work, etc.).

Thank you.
