The MCA Eagles played against a surprising RSEC Academy team this afternoon. RSEC came out to play and took an early 1-0 lead. They were hustling and beating the Eagles to the ball most of the game. Nate Swayne got the Eagles on the score board with his first goal of the season. The second half was a tough battle for both teams, until the last eight minutes of the game. Peter Maillet finally took control ofthe ball and scored three times in just over five minutes. This was Peter's first hat trick! The final score was 4-1 MCA over RSEC. JayReichl played a very impressive game, especially since this was his first time ever playing soccer! Ryan Bourgeois had another strong game at both ends of the field and Colin Lockwood and Ben Bickmore both had a good game for the Eagles. The next game is this Wednesday against Concord Christian Academy on their home turf. The Eagles next home game will be on TUESDAY, October 14th and the 16th is away at Parker.
