Bathroom Cleaners Needed
If you are looking for a way to fill your volunteer hours this year, an opportunity has just opened up. Our parent volunteer who was cleaning the bathrooms for us on Tuesdays is not able to fill her duty the rest of the school year. So, if anyone would be willing to fill this position, please call or e-mail me as soon as you can.
Also, I know there are a number of you diligently performing your volunteer duties. Please remember to fill out a volunteer sheet, found on the website, so that I can accurately reflect your hours.
Thanks so much for your continued support of MCA. It is so appreciated!

MCA Boys Victorious over St Maries 42-40
MCA was behind by 8 points at half time after missing many easy shoots. In the second half after making some defense adjustments on their post players our shoots began to fall. Ryan Bourgeois had 4 three pointers in the second half and lead all scorers with 20 points. All the starters scored for MCA. Final score was 42-40 with MCA fouling on a three point shoot at the buzzer. St Marie's hit only one of three foul shoots and MCA went to win. This was a low scoring game which says volumes for our awesome defensive effort. Both teams are capable point putting up points.
Parents, come and cheer our team on. They are worth watching!!!

Thanksgiving Half Day Reminder-
We just wanted to remind you about our plans for the half day Thanksgiving celebration here at MCA on Wednesday November 25th.
There will be academics for all grades the first hour or so of the morning. Then we will move into an activity or fellowship time. The elementary students will be doing an activity downstairs. The upperschool students will be having brunch, so please plan to send your upperschool child in with a food item to share. The items should not need cooking and should be ready to serve. We will have about 24 students present, so please plan accordingly.
We will be having an all school chapel at 10:30 am.
We will be dismissing at noon, after chapel has finished and all chores are completed.
Parents are welcome to join us for the fellowship and the chapel time.
We pray that you have a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and may God grant you traveling mercies. God is good. He is faithful to do all He has promised. His mercies endure forever!
Many Blessings this season of thanksgiving!

Elementary Christmas Play
We have begun rehearsals for the Christmas play, scheduled for December 11, and are in need of a few things. Each child knows their part and it would be great if they could start putting their wardrobe together. For example, if someone is a shepherd, you can get a robe or a cloth and a sash, a walking stick, etc. As soon as their costume is put together, please bring it in and I will label it and put in the costume closet. The sooner we get the costumes together, the better and we won't have to scramble at the last minute. If anyone is unsure of their costume or needs help of any kind, please don't hesitate to call me. FYI, I have a puppy costume which consists of a hood, tail and paws. It's very cute and simple and would fit perfectly, I think. If anyone has any "kingly" looking blankets, sheets or fabric or a navy blue large sheet or drapery (navy, purple, red, or gold) that is large and expansive that we can borrow, that would keep the cost down and would be appreciated. As soon as I find out how much of the stage we will be able to use, I will be able to let you all know if there is anything "prop-wise" we need, so I will get back to you on that. Thanks for all of your help! Call me if there are any questions. I am willing to help the children make their constumes if they need it, etc...Oh yes, I have purchased the material I need to make the two sheep costumes already.

Dear MCA Families-
Public health officials continue to stress the importance of personal hygiene, including frequent hand-washing, coughing into your sleeve, not sharing food or eating utensils, etc.
There are currently no routine recommendations, from the CDC or NH DHHS, to close schools in NH because of illness or to keep healthy children home from school. However, it is important for children and staff who are sick to stay home from school, as well as from special events such as dances, birthday parties, family events and other public gatherings. Children should stay home unless seeking medical care until they have no fever for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medicine. If any family members who are pregnant, have asthma or any other underlying health condition become sick with flu like symptoms, they are advised to contact a health care provider at the onset of these symptoms.
Sick students will be considered absent, but will be given time to make up work per the MCA Handbook. We do ask that you contact the school daily to let us know that your children are out because of illness and to report whether they have flu-like symptoms (fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, headache, body aches, sometimes vomiting and diarrhea).
For more information: The NH DHHS has set up a special flu “hot-line” – just call 2-1-1 (8AM – 5PM) to talk to someone. There is also a lot of reliable information on the CDC and NH DHHS websites: www.cdc.gov/h1n1flu and http://www.dhhs.state.nh.us/DHHS/DHHS_SITE/swineflu.htm. Please contact your family health care provider or MCA if you have specific questions about your children.
Please continue to pray that God heals and protects our families.
Blessings

School Portraits Reminder
Tuesday, October 27, 2009
Dear Parents of Upper School MCA Students-
Also, each student should bring a pair of work gloves and a rake. They are allowed to wear jeans or clothes they will be comfortable working in. They should also bring plenty of water and a bag lunch that DOES NOT require a microwave.
The juniors and seniors MUST bring gloves, eye protection, a mask, a hat, and a hammer. If they have a crowbar available, that would be appreciated as well!
We are looking forward to a day of serving those in need in our community. Praise God that we have the opportunity to shine for Him!

The Lions next take on Mount Royal Academy on Thursday for third or fourth place. Game time is 3:30, come down to the MCAA Sports Complex and cheer for your Lions!
Letter from Mr. Sontag
It is with great pleasure that I take a moment to thank you for all the great moments that the Lord has given me over the years at MCA, though not always called MCA. The most recent of these moments was participating in the playground project. Personally it was a great day of fellowship, especially with so many men, and working in the presence of God and His provision.
Presently, as most of you know, I am the new, yet older, pastor of Light of the World Church. I regard this as a great privilege and honor. But Christian education has far from fled from my thoughts and I hope it never does. In fact, the reason I am writing you is to invite you into a way in which I believe we can develop MCA into more of what God intends. I have also shared this with the School Board and they are excited to see how this approach evolves into a God honoring way to grow the school.
It is really very simple and uncomplicated. We, as parents, believe we are participating in God’s work by sending our children to Christian school. This is a conviction that God has planted deep in our hearts. If this were not so, why are we investing so much of our time and money? We are making a mission statement of what is valuable in our lives. My suggestion and approach is to be more intentional in stating what our joint mission with God is all about: “Go and make disciples”.
We, the MCA staff, PAC, and School Board, have adopted a mindset of promoting our mission in every program and activity that we present. We will intentionally invite “potential partners” to “come and see that the Lord is good” and that He is doing good things at MCA. In other words, we are going to “showcase” MCA by putting our best foot forward in the name of the Lord.
An example of this is the PBL night that is scheduled for Thursday, October 29th. We are asking parents and students to invite people (grandparents, neighbors, friends, etc.) to this event with the thought that at some time they might become partners in the ministry and support MCA, not only prayerfully but financially, if God moves on their heart to do so. I believe we have done this in the past but we have been remiss by not intentionally sharing our mission, God’s mission, at MCA. This is not going to be a hard sell, but simply being intentional and honest about why we are doing what we are doing.
We invite you into this mindset. My wife, Joan, and I have a clear testimony of what God has done for us and the blessing it has been for our three children to have attended MCA.
Serving Christ,
Paul Sontag, Headmaster

Read all about it!
PBL Night has been reschedule for Thursday October 29th. It will be held at the school and will begin at 6:30pm. There will be presentations in the sanctuary as well as "history fair" type presentations in A5. Please come and see what all the students have been working so hard to accomplish!
Calling all mentors.... please be sure to write up a one page summary regarding the PBL project. The biggest questions that we look for you to answer have to do with your relationship with the student over the course of the project, how commited the student was, how easily they adapted to change, how well they planned, how they learned, how they were challenged and how they grew! If you could send that letter in with your student before Friday, Oct 23rd, that would be great! Thank you for your help.
Delayed Opening
Friday, October 30th, following the PBL night, MCA will start school one hour later than usual. Therefore, morning worship will begin at 8:50am. We will also be having a school wide pancake breakfast. We would ask that each student contribute $1 to the purchase of the batter, syrup and accompanying utensils needed.
Community Service Day-
Friday, October 30th, following the pancake breakfast, the upper school will be going out into the community! We have families in need of fall clean-up, in the Milford area. Students will return to the school in time for afternoon carpool. Please bring any rakes you may have available and work gloves! Students will be given community service hours for this time. Remember, each student must submit a one page summary of a community service effort they completed this quarter. The paper is due, to your Bible teacher, no later than Wed. Nov 4th. Your paper may be on the fall clean-up day, or another effort that you were a part of this quarter.
Christmas Program at MCA-
As many of you know, MCA has traditionally done an elementary Christmas play. Our elementary students are wonderful!! Mrs LeHoux has generously given us her time in the preparation and presentation of these events over the past few years. Unfortunately, she will not be able to make that commitment this year. So, I am asking any parent/family member that has a heart for working with young children and who may have an idea for a Christmas program to consider presenting their ideas. It could be as grand as a play or as simple as Christmas carols. We are open to what the Lord has planned. So, if that is something that strikes your heart, then just give us a call at school!
Thank you for allowing us to spend each school day with your children!
Blessings

MCA will be hosting the soccer tournament again this year. The first round of the tournament will be on Monday, October 26th and the second round will be on Thursday, October 29th. Friday will be used in case of a rain cancellation. Game time is 3:30, come down to the MCAA Sports Complex and cheer the Lions on to victory!
A successful Work Party!!
It was such a blessing to be a part of the work party for the playground on Saturday October 17th!
It was wonderful to see school and church families come together to support a shared vision. The fellowship was wonderful, the willing hearts were a blessing, the food was terrific and the spirits were high!
We were originally very concerned about the weather forcast and we were so close to posponing this event. BUT, God is good and he blew that snow storm out one more day. The wind was cool and brisk but the sun was bright and warm! Praise the Lord.
We outfitted our church/school with a playground "make-over" for less than $1500 in material costs and expenses. It would not have been possible without the dedicated hearts and the helping hands of parents, PAC members, church families and alumni!
Many thanks go out to you all!
May God Bless you each richly.

Peterson, off a nice cross from Saisha Durham. Jesse came back and put three on the board, before Saisha Durham found the back of the net. The first half ended with Jesse leading the Lions 4-2. In the second half, Saisha scored two more goals, but so did Jesse Remington and the game ended with the Lions losing 4-6. Luke Maillet and Colin Lockwood both had good games on defense for MCA. Kirsten and Valarie Weber had a good game in the middle of the field, Paul Coblentz had a good game on offense and Jung Yeol had a good game in goal.
The Lions travel to Mount Royal on Wednesday and next week have two away games to finish the regular season.

Cookie Dough Fundraiser Is Here!
It's cookie time again. This year we have cookie dough and healthy snacks to sell. The sale begins today and ends October 23rd. Your child should have received an order form today from his / her teacher.
What do you do?
Simply ask friends, family and neighbors if they would like to help you raise money for your school. You can help them with an easy solution to baking this Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Each cookie dough box is $15 and the healthy snacks are $12. The cookies come in a box of 48 and are already scooped. All you need to do is place them on a cookie sheet and bake them. It's that easy.
Selling:
Your goal is 10 boxes of cookies or snacks. When you sell 10 boxes of cookies only you will get a FREE box for yourself. If you sell 20 boxes, you will get 2 FREE boxes and so on.
Take your order sheet with you. Make sure your name is in the top, left, gray box. Each person that orders fills out a line on the order sheet. Make sure you get their phone number. You will need to deliver the cookies and snacks when they come in.
Collect cash, check or money order made out to MCA. Please make sure you collect the money up front. Make checks payable to MCA.
Finished Selling:
Tally up the number of cookies and snacks ordered on the bottom. Make sure all checks or money orders are made out to MCA. Double check that you have collected all the money needed. Bring in your order forms and money collected in an envelope with your name on it to your homeroom teacher no later than OCTOBER 23rd.
Delivery:
The cookies and snacks will arrive at least a week before Thanksgiving. I will notify you as soon as I know the delivery date to the school. You will need to pick up your cookies that day from the school and plan on delivering them as soon as possible. They are delivered frozen in dry ice. The school does not have the room to store the cookies.
Thank you so much!
For those of you who like numbers:
If each family sells 10 boxes of cookie dough, 22 Families - profit of $1320.00
If each student sells 10 boxes of cookie dough - 43 students - $2580

The second half was a close game going back and forth the whole time. Mount Royal wore down the Lions defense and were able to sneak two goals past Jung Yeol Kim and won the game 1-2. It was a tough game to lose. Valarie Weber and Ryan Bourgeois both had a good game on defense for MCA.
The Lions travel to Concord on Monday to face the Parker Academy and have a game on Wednesday against the RSEC Academy at the MCAA Sports Complexon N. River Road.
Important Yearbook Info for Seniors and Their Parents
(this is long, but please be sure to read ALL of it!)
The yearbook committee is already working in full swing to try to organize this year's yearbook, and take some great shots to remember the year by. Every senior at MCA gets their very own page in the yearbook that is printed in COLOR!
So, what do we need from you?
No later than 3pm December 8, 2009, we will need....
1. Your senior portrait
2. One or two baby pictures
3. Your senior write up (see the hand out that Amy gave you on what to include in your write up -250 words max)
4. A letter to the senior from his/her parents - 250 words max -- include fond memories, advice for adulthood and/or scripture of encouragement for the new chapter in their life.
What are the other guidelines?
1. Senior portraits & baby pictures may be submitted as an electronic file to Mrs. Widner. If you can not send electronic files of these, you may leave an actual photograph in Mrs. Widner's mailbox in the front office. Please be sure to label photographs with your first and last name. Actual prints will be returned to the student once their page is complete.
2. All senior write ups and parent letters must be typed and included as an attachment via e-mail by the due date! We will be copying and pasting these items into the yearbook template, so please make sure that you proof read! Remember - 250 words max!

Volunteering
Now that the first week of school is over, and summer is behind us, it's time to get back into the swing of the school routine. As you know, one of MCA's unique qualities is volunteerism. There are still quite a few opportunities to serve.
Cleaning the Bathrooms - Everyday - about an hour each day. You may sign up for only one day a week that would be fine. - Just a side note, we save about $2200/year when this is covered by volunteers.
Cleaning the Elementary Floors - no experience necessary - training is provided - they are cleaned every other week and it's a two-person job. - about 10 hrs/month per person. - this position saves the school about $1600
Afternoon Office Coverage – 1:50 PM - 2:50 PM - This is needed everyday, but again you can sign up for just one or more days depending on your schedule.
Campbell Soup Labels - collecting and submitting the labels
Box Tops for Education - collecting and submitting the box tops
School Nurse - making sure records are accurate and up-to-date
Upper School Art - If you have a talent in art, share your gift with the upper school.
Elementary Music - teach the 1st - 6th graders how to keep rhythm and read notes.
Elementary Foreign Language - come in once or twice a week in the afternoon and teach a language, Spanish or Sign Language etc.
Elementary Recess Duty - 10:15 AM - 10:30 AM (except Thursdays) and/or 12:20 PM - 12:40 PM
Maintain Water Cooler Jugs - There are 3 jugs that need refilling periodically. Person would be responsible for checking and refilling as needed. Refills can be done through Monadnock Water. (Volunteer will be reimbursed for any money spent. See office for details.)
Remember, if you are unable to participate in volunteering, you may compensate for your hours by committing to pay $12.50 per hour not volunteered. (That’s $500 for all 40 hours.) This money gets used to pay someone to do the positions that don't get filled.
Thank you!

Soccer News
The Lions played a tough second half, but couldn't seem to find the net. Saisha Durham, Kirsten Weber and Ryan Bourgeois had some nice shots forthe Lions, but never got them between the goals posts. The Lions held JRHS to only one goal in the second half, but came up short in the longrun, by a score of 1-5. Everyone played a good game and the team is improving in many different areas. The next game for the Lions will be on Wednesday, against Parker. This is a home game and it will start at3:30. Monday and Tuesday the Lions have practice. Come down to the MCAA Sports Complex and cheer the MCA Lions on to their first victory of the season!

Soccer Starts with New Uniforms!!!
The 2009 soccer season is in full swing and with the new season, comes new uniforms and a new mascot! Gone are the days of the yellow singlets, with the Eagle on the front. For the first time in MCA's history, we have real soccer uniforms and we will now be known as the "LIONS"! The players looked like a real soccer team, with matching shirts, shorts and socks! Thank you PAC Board for allowing us to use the NASCAR money for new uniforms! The MCA Lions had their first game of the season this afternoon. TheLions went up against a tough Holy Family team from Manchester. Holy Family scored first, but Micah Edelbut hit Saisha Durham with a great pass and Saisha found the back of the net with a nice shot! Holy family scored again and Ryan Bourgeois tied the game up again with some fancy foot work and a shot that tricked the goalie. The first half ended in a 2-2 tie.
The second half didn't go so good for the Lions. Holy Family scored two more times and although they played a tough game, the Lions were not able to put any more shots into the net. The final score was 2-4. Jung Yeol Kim had a great game in goal for the Lions, he kept the score close with some nice saves. Valarie Weber and Colin Lockwood had a good game for the Lions, as well as Matt and Luke Maillet.
The Lions have practice on Wednesday and then will travel to Candia to take on Jesse Remington. Our next home game will be Wednesday, September 16th at the MCAA Sports Complex. Game time is 3:30, come down to the field and cheer the Lions on to victory!

A Note to Parents of Elementary Students
The elementary teachers are all looking forward to another great year with your children! Here are a few notes that pertain to the elementary students:
1. Please send your child with a pair of "inside" shoes to be kept here at the school. These need to be hard-soled shoes as they might need to be worn outside briefly in winter when we have a fire drill (no soft-soled slippers please). Please send these with your child on the first day of school. This greatly reduces the amount of sand tracked into the school.
2. The school is providing assignment notebooks this year!
We cannot wait to see you on Thursday, Sept. 3rd at 7 PM for our parent orientation night and to see your children on Monday, Sept. 8th!

School is coming!
Please note the change in a couple of very key dates!
The first day of school has been moved to Tuesday Sept 8th.
The Open House/Volunteer sign up is now Thursday evening Sept 3rd.
The last day of school has NOT been moved. Lord willing and we do not have more than a handful of snow days, the last day of school will not change.
We did increase the overall school day by 15 minutes, which is where we are getting some of our grace. The day starts 5 minutes earlier and the end of the day will be 10 minutes later.
Please strive to have your child dropped off between 7:45am and 7:50am so that we can begin morning worship.
School will be dismissed and afternoon carpool will start at 2:50pm.
I pray that you are enjoying your summer. May God continue to bless you all!

Dear MCA Family-
I just wanted to let all of our families know that we have a tuition assistance program available for NEW FAMILIES who qualify. So, if in your travels this summer, the Lord leads you to someone who desires Christian Education but believes they can not afford it, then please tell them not to be discouraged. If you could let them know that there is a tuition assistance program at MCA for NEW families who qualify, and encourage them to give the office a call (603)673-9324 or stop by....I would be greatly appreciate it.
Many Blessings to you all!

Host families needed!
Praise God that we have the opportunity to enroll 2 - 3 additional Foreign Exchange students and one Foreign Exchange Teaching Assistant. However, we need your assistance in hosting these fine young people. Each student or teaching assistant will provide a fee to the host family to cover minimal costs for food and utilities. I would ask that you prayerfully consider taking in one of these students or reaching out to someone in your church that has a heart for this ministry. These foreign exchanges are such a blessing to the school and the host families.

Set up a meeting with Mrs. Lockwood!
I trust you are all enjoying the summer...and the sun that has finally decided to come out.
I wanted to thank all of the upper school families that have either made an appointment to meet with me or have completed their meeting with me. If you are one of the upper school families who have not contacted me regarding a meeting to discuss the Statement of Core Values and select classes for next year, then I would kindly ask that you contact me at your earliest convenience. I sent a large distribution e-mail toward the end of June with details and I have recently followed up with telephone messages. So, please be sure to check your e-mail for more details.
I am available most Monday and Thursday mornings for these meetings. The meetings are approximately one hour long. Both the student and at least one parent must attend the meeting, and reading through the Statement of Core Values prior to the meeting is very helpful. Please find the document on our website, under admissions.
Please note that if you are the parent of a lower school child, then please find the Statement of Core Values on our website, under admissions. I would ask that you print one copy per child, read through the document, sign for yourself and your child and forward it to the school. If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school or through e-mail.
Many Blessings to you all.

REVIEW WEEK for grades 7 - 12!
This week (June 1 - June 5) is review week for all classes. The class schedule will be the same each day with 45 minute periods in the morning and a study hall after lunch/recess time. The homework sheet will be posted, but it will be very generic. It will not highlight specific assignments; it will only list that review homework will be assigned.
Please note that the homework assignments given are in preparation for the final exam and students are still responsible for the work. Missing homework will still be reflected in the student's grade.
A note to students who attend only two days.....you are more than welcome to attend MCA each day this week in preparation for the final exam. It would be to your benefit to attend each day. However if you are only able to attend on Tues and Thurs, then you will get only 2 days of review. This would mean that you should plan to spend time studying on your own during the "off" days.
The Final Exam Schedule is being developed. All exams will be given on either June 8th, June 9th or June 10th.
Those who attend only Tues/Thurs may need to come to MCA on Mon or Wed to take their final exam!!
Please feel free to e-mail me with any questions.
Blessings!

Canobie Lake on Friday May 29th!
At this point, Canobie Lake is open for Friday May 29th! Therefore, at this point we are continuing with our plans to attend the park. Please plan to wear clothes appropriate for the trip, including rain gear. Plan to bring a bagged lunch and if you are in Mrs. Lockwood's science class please bring your packet for data recording. We plan to return to the school by 3pm.
IF Canobie Lake closes for the day, we will obviously not go the park. In this case, we will remain at the school and have classes as usual. A couple of students have been contacted, so that they can bring their instruments in the event that we remain at school and we have Chapel!! I would also suggest that students bring their books in the event that we have classes.
Please have your permission slip and $10 into the office!!
Praise God for his grace during each of the upper school retreats! We continue to trust him for all that the rest of the school year holds.
Many Blessings

Tuesday is an all-school Field Day!
Monday, May 18, 2009
Retreat for Upper School Boys 7-12
Specific information:
- Leave MCA after Field Day on Tuesday 5/26
- Return MCA 3 PM Thursday 5/28
- Tenting groups are formed and tents arranged
- Each group will provide its own food
- Meal plan provided, but grades 7-9 must have approval from staff
- Tents and cooking equipment will be arranged by team with help of staff
- MCA will provide water purifiers, additional purifiers desired
- We have a limited number 0f backpacking stoves. This is a worthwhile purchase for about $25 at Walmart
- Fishing gear, but keep it light.
- Bring snack and money for fast food stop on the return trip
- Field trip form required
Notes: This is a great trip to introduce 7-9 to real backpacking. All students have had the Camp Carleton experience. They are ready for the next step. Grades 7-12 will be coached through this process. We will take good care of them but they will be stretched. If you are not experienced let them make their own decisions regarding equipment and food. We will check and adjust everything before we leave. Do not spend money on expensive gear unless you intend to do a lot of camping and backpacking in the future. We try to borrow whatever we need to reduce the expense. Call me if you have any questions before you make a large equipment purchase.
Cost: $15 Gas and Camping fee. I will return money if camping fee is less. Please pay in cash. It makes accounting easier and easier to return any extra money.
Chaperones: Paul Sontag, Josiah Gdanian, Brendon Greeley and one other unconfirmed. Parents are welcome.
Saturday, May 16, 2009
CANOBIE LAKE DAY!
The majority of the cost is covered by the science fee paid at the beginning of the school year, therefore the cost is $10 per student. Please plan to have your payment (cash is preferred) and permission slip into the office by Friday May 22nd.
Plan to wear appropriate shoes. School uniforms are not required but modest dress is a MUST. Also, a bagged lunch is required, or you can send your child with additional money (in addition to the $10 fee) to purchase their own food.
Please note that many measurements can be made without riding the rides. So if your child gets motion sick, please know that the day will still be fun and the assignment can still be accomplished.
Blessings

NASCAR Note to Parents and Students
With the end of school fast approaching, I'm sure many of you are already planning summer activities. I sure hope that you will leave the weekend of June 27th and 28th open to help out with the NASCAR Fund Raiser. This year the PAC Board is given the money raised that weekend to the Athletic Department; Saturday's funds will be going to new uniforms for all of our sport teams and Sunday's money is going to athletic equipment for the phys. ed. classes and the after school sports program. I DESPERATELY NEED your help! We need to have twenty people, 16 years of age and older to help clean the bleachers both days. This is such an easy fund raiser, compared to selling thousands of candy bars.... In two days we will have the opportunity to raise over $2,000. Please mark your calendars and plan on helping out either day. I will be heading up the Saturday Event and Gail Vrouhas will be heading up the Sunday Event. If you have any questions, please give me a call. Thank you in advance for all your help!
Lenette Peterson
Athletic Director
Attention Students!
I'm sure each of you is looking forward to summer vacation, don't check out of school yet, STAY FOCUSED! I need your help with the NASCAR Fund Raiser! If you play soccer or basketball for the school, I NEED you to make the commitment to either helping out Saturday or Sunday or getting someone that is older than you to go in your place. New uniforms, new equipment, phys. ed. equipment can only be purchased through fund raisers and you really don't want to sell candy bars again.... There is a sign up sheet on the bulletin board, please sign up! If you get someone to go in your place, make sure you let me know that they are going for you. I will be heading up Saturday's Event and Mrs. Vrouhas will be heading up Sunday's. If you have any questions, give me a call! Thanks in advance for all your help!

Thursday May 14th will be a JEANS day for any student who brings in a case of spring water!! The spring water will be sold during THE BATTLE OF THE BANDS on Friday May 15th as part of our fundraising efforts.
Please note that any student who arrives at school wearing jeans, but without a case of water bottles, will be asked to change their clothes!! Also, appropriate jeans are required...not too tight and with no holes or rips in them. Jean shorts are also allowed but they must reach the knee and NOT BE CUT OFFS.
