Dear MCA Family-
Prayerfully, you have received the re-enrollment package for the 2009-2010 school year. We are so excited with what The Lord has done here at MCA!
We continue to trust Him for the next year as well. The Administration and the PAC team are working together to upgrade the playground for the elementary students, as well as transform the downstairs library into an art room!
The upstairs computer lab has been upgraded with newly donated computers from BAE. The Harris family has been instrumental in making this upgrade successful! We have also received a monetary donation to continue this upgrade!
The Elders of the LWCC have also given MCA permission to open the modular with the plan of designating the larger classroom as a science lab for any grade that would like to use the equipment and the space for their activities!! This means access to supplies and equipment for upper level science classes!
Praise God!
We ask for your continued prayers and servant hearts to carry out these plans and staff them accordingly. If you would like to participate in any of these additions or have information that would embellish them, then please feel free to contact the office!

Dear Parents of MCA Juniors and Seniors:
We, in the MCA office, receive many pieces of information regarding scholarships and financial aid! However, we are not staffed with a Guidance Counselor or an expert in this area. Therefore we are committed to dropping a copy of any applicable information in your child’s school mailbox, located in A5. I would encourage you to ask your child about this information and ask him/her to bring home any related materials.
Also, if you are a tax paying resident of the town you reside in, you most likely have access to the public school guidance counselors. I would encourage you to contact your area high school and inquire about this service or any additional college seeking information.
Blessings!

The MCA Lady Eagles went up against a rough Nashua Christian Academy team this evening and it was a tough game. Both teams were neck and neck for the first half. The Lady Eagles ran out of steam by the fourth quarter and could not keep base with the depth of NCA. Saisha Durham lead the scoring with 7 points, followed by Sheila Peterson with 6, Becca Peterson with 5, Kirsten Weber had 2 and even Rachel Bourgeois sunk a free throw for her first point of the season! Everyone played a great game. The girls have practice Friday in Mont Vernon at 3:15 and the next game is next Friday at 3:00 PM at Milford Middle School against NCA. Girls Basketball Update
The MCA Lady Eagles ran into an always tough Ste. Maries team tonight. Ste. Maries came out on fire and MCA never caught up. The Lady Eagles played a tough second half and tried making a come back, but Ste. Maries was just too strong. Becca Peterson lead the scoring with 4 points, followed by Lisa Beaulieu and Sheila Peterson both with 3 points, Saisha Durham with 2 and Kirsten Weber with 1. This was Sheila Peterson's first game of the season due to an injury and the Lady Eagles were without Liz Beaulieu, the team's leading scorer, who is out with an injury. The girls next game is Wednesday, against NCA up in Pelham.

Attention Parents:
The cold weather is here and it will be staying for quite some time. Since we do not have a gymnasium, we go outside for PE classes unless the temperature is below ten degrees. I do keep them moving, but it is still very cold out. Would you please make sure your child/children come to school on Fridays with the following: a winter hat (no baseball hats), gloves or mittens, and several warm layers are better than a big bulky winter coat, I wear three to four sweatshirts (1 crew and 2-3 hoodies). The parking lot is usually clear of snow and I try to shovel off the slush as much as possible, so sneakers are preferred over big, clunky boots. Scarfs are not allowed, but they can wear neck warmers. Thank you for your assistance with this matter.
WINNING update for the Girls Basketball team!
The Lady Eagles had a tough game today against Holy Family. The game started out slow and shaky for the Lady Eagles, their shots just would not fall in the basket. Holy Family was having their own troubles scoring and the first quarter ended with the Lady Eagles down 0-4 and the first half ended with both teams at 4 a piece. Third and fourth quarters were all MCA and they took control of the game both on offense and defense. Liz Beaulieu started the scoring for MCA and lead the team with10 points, followed by Saisha Durham with 8, Lisa Beaulieu for 4 and Becca Peterson and Kirsten Weber each with 2 points. Michaela Reichl played a great game at both ends of the court and Rachel Bourgeois had a good game off the bench. The Lady Eagles next game is this Friday against a very strong Saint Maries team.
