Yearbook Advertising
Attention Parents! The Yearbook Staff is diligently working on making this the best yearbook ever at MCA!!! The teens are excited and Mrs. Widner and I are thrilled with the work that is being done to meet our goals. We had a yearbook meeting yesterday and made some huge decisions as to what the finished product will look like. You might be thinking how can you help your child/children have the best yearbook this year? One way would be to help our yearbook staff sell advertisements. We are selling half page ads for $50 and business card ads for $25. Parents or grandparents can buy ads to congratulate their senior, who has survived twelve years of schooling! If you would like to purchase ad space or know someone who does, please contact Mrs. Widner or Mrs. Peterson and we will get you the order form. MCA has always set the bar for the yearbook standards and this year will be no different!! Our e-mail addresses are: rylee.widner@gmail.com, shebec@juno.com

WORSHIP DANCE IS OFFERED AT MCA!
Worship Dance is the act of prayer through dance, music and movement lead by a group of dancers who have been called by God to worship His word with their entire being.
Tanya T. Roberts will be offering worship dance to grades 5-9 on Wednesday mornings from 9:00-10:00 starting Wednesday, February 18th.
Tanya has been a performing arts teacher for over twenty years, directing over 50 productions in her career and holds a BA in theater from the University of New Hampshire. Tanya’s call to worship God through dance came through Christ Church in Fitchburg, MA ten years ago! She is now the founder and director of Epiphany a worship dance troupe for children and adults through The Second Congregational Church in Wilton. Tanya is very excited and blessed for the opportunity to work with these young women from MCA! Class will start off in prayer (often dancing scripture), warm-up, choreography to a Christian artist and class will close with a time for our own prayerful needs. Dancers may wear their MCA shirt with long sweat pants or dance pants, bare feet; hair pinned away from their face. This is non-performance class.
Feel free to contact Tanya with any questions in regard to the program,
654-7442. Praise Him with drums and dancing! Psalm 150:4

A sledding afternoon for the 7th - 9th grade!
Dear parents of 7th through 9th graders-
We will be taking your child sledding on Friday February 13th! Our plan is to leave MCA around noon, and return between 2:30 and 3:00 pm. Please note, that upon returning to the school, your child will need time to enter the building to gather their belongings and complete their chore.
Please print out and return a completed permission form, as we will be traveling outside the Milford town line. We will be sledding down Carnival Hill in Wilton, and there is no cost.
Also, please have your child bring warm outdoor clothes appropriate for sledding as well as any sleds you would like to contribute. Please bring a bagged lunch (no warm-ups) so that we can eat lunch on the way. Appropriate snacks may be brought (enough for all would be ideal, which would include approximately 15 people)and eaten while sledding.
Lets enjoy God's creation!
Blessings

A big "Thank you" goes out to all of the families represented at the Glass House Presentation! I pray that The Lord continues to carry us in the palm of His hand as we seek His will for our school! Your support, your efforts and most of all your prayers were much appreciated. It was a beautiful thing, as one parent put it, to hear God's children praying!
If you were unable to attend the meeting, then feel free to contact the office, a PAC member or another parent that you knew attended!
God Bless You all!

Attention all SENIORS and PARENTS of seniors
What an exciting time!! The yearbook committee is beginning to assemble the 2008-2009 yearbook. That means it's time for you to reflect on your school years and create a write-up that will help you remember the great times that you have had throughout the years. Each senior will receive an e-mail from our Yearbook President, Andrew, with directions for their senior write-up, as well as directions for the parents' letter to the student. Along with a senior portrait we are asking for each senior to also submit a baby photo (6 months or younger). Please feel free to contact Mrs. Widner at rylee.widner@gmail.com with any questions! Have fun and enjoy your trip down Memory Lane!
God Bless,
