Attention Soccer Players

Summer vacation is in full swing, but before you know it soccer will be starting up! We've already got a practice schedule set up. Practices will be M, T, W from 3:00 - 5:00 at the MCAA field beginning August 31st, which is also the first day of school. Due to the rising cost of gas, we will have to raise our fees to $65 per player with a $115 per family cap. If possible, please sign up (form completed and fee paid) as soon as you can. Forms can be found on the website here: Soccer Permission Form . If you have any questions, please contact Coach Peterson at shebec@juno.com . All forms and fees are due before you can attend a practice.

-Tuesday afternoon will be a time when the Seniors can hand in their graduation speeches and follow up with any last minute details. The Juniors will also be meeting on Tuesday to discuss the preparations for their part in the Senior Banquet.

-Wednesday afternoon will be graduation practice for the 8th graders. If you plan to be a part of the ceremony then you must be at the practice. Any upper school student not involved in the 8th grade graduation practice may leave once their chore is complete.

Thank you,

Senior Graduation Info

Graduation is right around the corner! Here is some important information that the seniors and their families need to know:
  • Caps, gowns, and tassels have arrived! Please remember to come pick yours up from Mrs. Owen in the office well before graduation so that the wrinkles can be ironed / hung out.
  • Each senior must write a 1-3 minute speech (as outlined by Mrs. Lockwood during class) to be read during the graduation ceremony. The written speech is due by Tuesday, June 9th. Please contact Mrs. Lockwood if you have any questions.
  • Graduation is being held at Good News Bible Church in Wilton on Saturday, June 13th at 10:30 AM.
  • Graduates need to be at Good News no later than 10 AM in nice attire underneath their caps and gowns. Please wear dress shoes.
  • Because of the small graduating class size, each graduate may invite up to 20 people if they so choose.

Twelve days and counting.....!
